NES: Zelda You probably know how long this game takes to complete, it is the best game I have played on the NES, by far.
I must have been working on that game for around 2 months, I was young, around 8, or 9. So I was pretty proud of myself getting so far into the game. Up to the last level, but that last dungeon is bloody hard. And the boss at the end is damn hard as well. Back to the story. My game was nearly finished, and so was my Mum's. It was almost like a race to complete the game. Well, one day we had a family and family friend's 'do' at our place, and kids were playing the Nintendo, it was a hit. I didnt really mind them playing, as long as they didnt touch my Zelda game. After the do, I switch on the NES to game a stab at the final level, "WHAT?? Where is my game?? Where is Mum's game?!?" Some little shit deleted all the saved games!! Months of work, down the fucking drain. To say I was depressed would be an understatement. I never completed Zelda. |

Re: NES: Zelda Yep. It is REALLY impportant on a NES cart to hold in the reset button while switching th power off.
I had the same thing happen to me twice On that goddamned game. Surprisingly, nobody was killed. I didn't wind up beating the original Legend of Zelda on NES till I was 24 Years of age. |
